Munich’s famous Grand Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski has launched a new cigar lounge that sets new standards: Colin Finnegan, interior architect of the Amsterdam based studio FG Stijl has created a magical venue of royal Bavarian flair with a modern twist, offering the last in technological amenities.

Interior architect Colin Finnegan has created an exclusive ambiance inspired by the British gentlemen’s club: Guests are invited to relax in leather armchairs in front of the 19th century, Louis XVI fireplace. To commemorate the property ́s former owner, Alfred Walterspiel, an original portrait of the famous chef proudly hangs above the fireplace.
Regular guests are encouraged to store their valued cigars in one of the 18 elegant, private humidors. Just getting to them is an experience: They are discreetly hidden behind a mirrored wall. The minimum rental for a private humidor is one year at a cost of EUR 3,000 p.a.
