Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort and Spa, Maldives launches an offer for guests booking year-end holidays before 31 October 2011. Among other benefits, the offer includes a free night and a New Year’s Eve gala dinner. During the festive season, the resort will surprise guests with themed dinners, live entertainment and family activities.
The Festive Season Early Bird Offer is valid for stays from 24 December 2011 until 14 January 2012 booked before 31 October 2011 and includes for two persons:
– One complimentary night when paying for six nights
– Free New Year’s Eve gala dinner on the beach
– Free return domestic flights from Malé to Gan – a 70-minute scenic flight over the Maldives’ atolls
– Up to two complimentary extra beds per villa for children below 12 years old
– Buffet breakfast in Javvu Restaurant
The price starts at US$2,000 per villa per night for a Pool Villa.
During the festive season, the resort’s restaurants and bars will feature various themed evenings, including a pirates’ night and a salsa beach cocktail party. The New Year’s Eve gala dinner will take place on the beachfront. Colourful masks, Venetian backdrops and costumes will create a unique Renaissance atmosphere. The buffet will feature over 50 festive dishes from around the world such as wild smoked salmon, Alaskan crab, fresh oysters and Wagyu beef. The after-dinner party will include DJ music and a champagne bar.
The Kids’ Club team will offer a fun programme of activities – from Christmas carolling and Santa Claus’ gift-giving party to a musical play and fashion show. Family bonding moments will include marshmallow toasting on the beach, movie nights under the stars and Christmas game competitions.
Couples can choose to re-energise in the sweet aromas of brown sugar and cloves with a festive body scrub at CHI, The Spa or take a romantic sunset cruise aboard a luxury sailing yacht. For a sophisticated start to the year, guests can feast on a champagne brunch at Fashala lounge while enjoying panoramic ocean views.
