Villa Giulia, Luciano Pavarotti’s summer residence, is finally able to welcome the great tenor’s fans. The Maestro’s daughters have decided to open up this residence where guests will be able to reside-albeit just for the length of a holiday – in the home where Pavarotti spent some of his happiest days, surrounded by his family and friends.
Villa Giulia which the maestro named in memory of his grandmother, is located nearPesaroin the region of LeMarche, in what the tenor defines as “the most beautiful position on theAdriatic”: Baia Flaminia
Immersed within 12 hectare park that slops gently down to the sea, Villa Giulia is a special place that Pavarotti longed for and had to “court” for many years before he made it his own in 1975. “I used to look at this house every time I thought to myself: how lucky is the farmer who lives there!” the tenor used to say. Inside the villa, everything has bee left the way it was when the maestro lived there, from the layout to the furnishings and the paintings. Guests of Villa Giulia can even use the music room in the annex which contains his piano. The ten bedroom property also features a swimming pool, a tennis court and fabulous sea views.
