As expanding Swiss regional carrier SkyWork Airlines approaches its first anniversary on the London City-Bern route at the end of March, it has introduced a new fare structure to better meet the needs of the individual traveller. Passengers now have the option of four different classes of booking on a range of tariffs: SkySaver; SkySurfer; SkyWorker and SkyExecutive each offering enhanced flexibility on optional extras including baggage allowances, catering requirements, on-board iPads, lounge access, earphones and ticket flexibility. The main characteristics of the new classes are:
SkyExecutive:
Perfect for anyone requiring complete flexibility, this fare category allows changing a booking free of charge (within 12 months) and a complete refund on ticket cancellation (minus the credit card fee). Other benefits include an enhanced carry-on (2 x 8kg bags) and checked baggage (20kg) allowance, fully inclusive on-board SkyBistro catering, free on-board iPad and earphone usage, lounge access where available and a 30% reduction in fare for children aged two years up to 11 years inclusive.
SkyWorker:
Ideal for those passengers travelling on business, this category allows bookings to be changed with minimal penalty (50 CHF/£35 plus-minus any fare differential). Other advantages include on-board SkyBistro catering (snack and a soft drink or hot beverage of choice) and a 30% reduction in fare for children aged two years up to 11 years inclusive.
SkySurfer:
This competitively priced category offers SkyBistro catering plus a 30% reduction in fare for children aged two years up to 11 years inclusive.
SkySaver:
This category offers the best prices plus SkyBistro catering.
