Sanda Wellness – the natural health specialists behind The Beach House Goa, have launched The Indian Detox, a new Ayurveda-based retreat at their beautiful sister site, Dudhsagar resort, situated in the lush Goan jungle.
The Indian Detox from Sanda Wellness is the latest in a range of innovative and all-inclusive wellness programmes, uniquely designed to incorporate both medical and holistic therapies. Utilising Sanda’s unique 360 degree consultation and trademark focus on the three ‘chakras’, the new retreat focuses on the principles of Ayurveda, an ancient Indian medicine based on natural and holistic living. Throughout the programme, all aspects of Wellness – the Physical, the Psychological and the Physiological – are all treated, but using Ayurvedic treatments, products and philosophies.
Ayurveda, meaning the knowledge of life or longevity, identifies seven different body-types or constitutions and recommends different diets, health regimes and lifestyles for each of them. By identifying each guest’s specific constitution, the Sanda Wellness team of specialists, from nutritionists and doctors to psychologists and beauty therapists, are able to prescribe and provide techniques and practices to strengthen, purify and detoxify.
