New restaurants, world class chefs and exciting fresh features are just a few of the reasons why this year’s Taste of London, in partnership with British Airways, promises to be one of the most anticipated events of the summer.
The capital’s largest open air food and drink festival will return for its eighth year to London’s Regent’s Park from 16-19th June 2011 with a host of new and exciting restaurants and Michelin starred chefs to whet the appetites and satiate even the hungriest festival visitor. Gary Rhodes, Michel Roux Jr, Silvena Rowe and Richard Corrigan are just a few chefs set to dish up some gastronomic delights across the four days with a number of restaurants making their debut at the event including ORA, Corrigan’s, Petrus, Le Caprice and Gauthier Soho.
Brand new for 2011 is the introduction of The Secret Garden – a gastronomic oasis and exclusive area of hidden treats which will be tucked away in Regent’s Park. Visitors will have the chance to take part in Q&A sessions with some chef greats in addition to being able to feast on canapés and champagne and enjoy VIP access to a private bar and lounge.
Taste of London visitors can dine from 40 of the capital’s top restaurants, try and buy from 200 food and drink producers, enjoy fine wine tasting and watch some of the world’s greatest chefs demonstrate their skills live on stage.
British Airways is offering some first class service at its Exec Club Lounge whilst Masterclasses with Laurent-Perrier, Estrella and San Pellegrino will introduce guests to an indulgent tasting experience.
