Wine connoisseurs can celebrate the UK’s first National Wine Month this May with an escape to the lovely L’Albereta, a five-star Relais & Chateaux situated in the Italian wine region of Franciacorta, set deep in the hills of Lombardy amongst its own vineyards with breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Iseo.
L’Albereta now introduces their new “Wine & Dine” package where guests will take part in a special wine tasting held at L’Albereta’s winery, Bellavista, as well as experience a full tour of the winery and learn how Bellavista’s sparkling wines get from the vine to the bottle. Additionally, guests will enjoy a delectable eight-course tasting menu created by Italy’s iconic and legendary chef Gualtiero Marchesi including such iconic dishes as Saffron, Rice and Gold and Filet of Veal Rossini, which will be served with accompanied wine pairings. Guests will also enjoy pampering massages at L’Albereta’s incredible Henri Chenot Espace Vitalité, as well as recieve a special bottle of L’Albereta’s exclusive Vigna Leone Chardonnay to enjoy during their stay or to take and enjoy at home.

The “Wine & Dine” package is available through 17 December 2011 and costs from £299 (€338) per person per night based on two sharing with a two night minimum; subject to availability and is not available on bank holidays.
