From the 8th March, Hong Kong Airlines will launch a daily non-stop service between London and Hong Kong. Three brand new Airbus A330-200s featuring a unique all Club Class seating configuration will operate on the route. Each of these ultra-modern aircraft will showcase two premium cabins: ‘Club Premier’ and ‘Club Classic’. Both Clubs have been created to deliver the airline’s exceptional signature service with an ambient experience in a spacious environment, extensive coverage of WIFI service, stunning sky bars, superior limousine service and state-of-the-art entertainment system.
The A320 aircraft will serve routes linking Hong Kong to destinations in mainland China, and North and South East Asia. The fleet enhancement is a strategic move in support of the airline’s continued network expansion and enhances Hong Kong’s position as a leading international traffic hub.
Yang Jian Hong, President for Hong Kong Airlines told TravelPlus: “With our new all Club Class A330-200 and A320, Hong Kong Airlines will consolidate further its position as a premier full service carrier. The onboard features will ensure that we are able to offer the best possible inflight experience, embracing the latest in passenger comfort and technology while benefiting from the economic efficiency offered by these modern aircraft types.”
Hong Kong Airlines currently operates a fleet of 21 aircraft. Its passenger aircraft fleet comprises seven Airbus A330-200s, one Airbus A320 and eight Boeing B737-800s aircraft.
