To coincide with the release of Inferno on 21 October, adapted from Dan Brown’s bestselling novel, Lungarno Collection is launching a new 2 night experience to discover the locations from the movie. The third in the trilogy that includes The Da Vinci Code, the film will showcase many of Florence’s most historic sites.
With a 3 hour private tour, guests of Hotel Lungarno, Gallery Hotel Art, Portrait Firenze and Hotel Continentale will be able to follow in the footsteps of Dan Brown’s protagonist Robert Langdon as he searches to learn the hidden secrets to Dante’s Divine Comedy and masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci.
Walk from the Badia Fiorentina, crossing the city centre before a walk through the leafy Boboli Gardens. Make a stop on the famous Ponte Vecchio, wandering through the Palazzo Vecchio and heading on to Dante’s house and the little church where he is said to have met the love of his life, Beatrice Portinari. The tour ends inside the Baptistery with its elaborate mosaics.
Lungarno Collection’s Inferno package costs from €330 per room per night based on two adults sharing for 2 nights on a B&B basis, excluding VAT and tourism tax. Includes a 3 hour guided tour of Florence.
