Today, the first Alitalia flight took off from London City Airport situated in the heart of London’s financial district. The flight marks Alitalia’s debut from City Airport where it now operates directly thanks to the Embraer E-190, one of the few aircraft able to land at City Airport.
Alitalia offers two daily flights between London City and Milan Linate airports from Monday to Friday. There is one daily flight on Sunday. Alitalia’s new aircraft offers 100 seats with a 2 by 2 configuration. The absence of a middle seat and the ‘slim-line’ leather seats guarantee maximum comfort for all passengers.
