Air France has joined forces with New York Street Artist JonOne to showcase his talents both onboard and on the ground. JonOne was commissioned by Air France to redesign the La Première menus and wine lists available on all long-haul flights. In addition, two sculptures by the artist are on display in the Air France La Première lounge in Paris Charles-de-Gaulle. The first is a blue LED sculpture, the second a 1.5m long piece of graffiti art.
The self-styled ‘abstract expressionist graffiti painter’, JonOne, originally from the Dominican Republic, joins an inspirational list of avant-garde street and installation artists that have already exhibited in the La Première lounge including the late Keith Haring, Jeff Koons and David Mach.
JonOne’s art will be on display in the La Première lounge and onboard until the end of 2012.
